Someone told me recently that "Anonymous doesn't really mean any harm". Except for destroying religion, that is. Interestingly enough, the Nazi's "didn't really mean any harm", either. There are a lot of parallels between the Nazis' hate propaganda campaign against the Jews and the Anonymous members' hate propaganda campaign against the Scientologists. The Nazis didn't become violent extremists overnight, but because enough people believed that they really "didn't mean any harm" and were just trying to help Germany for Germany's sake by eliminating the "bad guys" (whose so-called bad attributes were a completely false fabrication by the Nazis, but repeated enough times for people to start believing them as fact), the Nazis went unchecked and 6,000,000 Jews later, the Germans are still chagrined. Anyone who is so cowardly that they mask themselves behind a generality is the real enemy and the manufacturer of true ill intent.

Legally protesting? Bomb threats, DDoS of Church websites, running into churches covered in vaseline, toenails & pubic hair - and then the utter harassment of everyday Scientologists like me who are trying to just raise a kid and practice my religion? Whoa, I think not. I have a right to practice my religion like anyone else in this country, without having to be worried about creepy guys in masks that hang out in front of my church hurling demeaning insults at my 8-month-old daughter. Seriously.
